Group Name	Lunch at the Downtown Women's Center
Description	Once a month in 2007 Be the Cause volunteers would cook and serve a home-cooked meal to the Ladies at the Downtown Women's Center (DWC). The DWC is a homeless shelter and a drop-in center for women living on the streets. The DWC is located right on the outskirts of Skid-Row, Los Angeles. The meals that we typically provided were done keeping nutrition and taste in mind. Unlike typically homeless shelter we actually served our 'guests'. Our guests would be seated and we would first provide them with the cutlery and napkins they needed before walking meals over to them.
